Counseling & Healing Services
Exclusive Services
As a Licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator (NMIT) in the State of Colorado, I am qualified to facilitate psilocybin natural medicine sessions at select, state-licensed healing centers. These services are provided separately from my counseling practice and in accordance with all Colorado Natural Medicine regulations. Services are structured, sequential, and designed to support safety, preparation, facilitation, and integration.
Important Distinctions:
Healing center services (preparation, facilitation, and required integration) are provided under Colorado’s Natural Medicine regulations and are not psychotherapy.
Psychotherapy services are offered separately through my counseling practice and are not part of the healing center’s regulated services.
Participation in psychotherapy is not required to receive natural medicine services, and natural medicine services are not a substitute for mental health treatment.
1
Initial Contact
Clients begin by contacting me to ask questions and explore whether natural medicine services may be an appropriate fit. This conversation is informational and helps clarify the process, expectations, and required steps.
2
Screening & Forms Through the Licensed Healing Center
Clients must formally apply for services through the licensed healing center I am contracted with. The healing center is responsible for all required screening, consent, eligibility determination, and regulatory compliance as outlined by DORA.
3
Required Preparation
A preparation session is required prior to any facilitation experience. Preparation focuses on education, intention-setting, emotional readiness, and establishing grounding and support strategies. This session is designed to help clients engage with the facilitation experience safely and intentionally.
Additional preparation sessions may be requested for a fee.Preparation sessions are part of the natural medicine services pathway and are distinct from psychotherapy.
4
Natural Medicine Facilitation at the Healing Center
Clients participate in one natural medicine facilitation experience at the healing center, where I serve as their assigned facilitator/guide. Facilitation occurs in a licensed setting and follows all DORA requirements regarding environment, roles, and scope of practice.
5
Required Integration
Following facilitation, clients are required to complete one integration session in accordance with DORA regulations. Integration focuses on processing the experience, supporting emotional regulation, meaning-making, and facilitating the incorporation of insights into daily life.
Additional integration sessions are strongly encouraged to support continued processing, stabilization, and long-term integration. The required integration session is considered part of regulated natural medicine services, and any additional integration sessions may be requested for a fee.
6
Optional Ongoing Psychotherapy
For clients who would benefit from more ongoing or in-depth support, long-term psychotherapy is also available separately through my counseling practice. This work is distinct from healing center services and may provide continued space for integration, emotional processing, and broader therapeutic goals over time.
